Stockton Globe Exhibition

I organised this exhibition in January 2022 as part of a module for my degree, entitled "Making for a Space, Place and Audience". It required a piece of work for a gallery, public space or a participatory workshop related to a space and place.

I have been a Globe volunteer since 2018 and have been privileged to experience so many things, particularly photographing the restoration. It was a perfect place and space as inspiration to create glass and ceramic pieces during two workshops I ran for Globe volunteers. (See Participatory Art Project tab).

 

The foyer at Stockton Globe was the perfect space to showcase the works created.

Sadly due to Covid it was one night only for volunteers, their family and friends, Stockton Borough Council and Globe staff.

I organised a large screen in The Link to play photographs of the participants at the two workshops, This enabled visitors to see how the volunteers created their works of art.
